An FTP error ... specified directory could not be accessed.

ICE/Incontext Editing:

I was getting this error and the solution was to remove the HostDirectory from the Configure Site Settings. Now the "funny thing is" that it USED to work with the host directory information in there, and then one day my publisher told me he was getting this error.

Just so you know... SOME sites require HostDirectory to have root information in it and some sites don't,  apparently. If you get the error "....specified directory could not be accessed." when you try to PUBLISH or SAVE DRAFT (or whatever), then perhaps it is because the Host Directory needs to have the root information removed. Try it anyway.. see it that works.

I have attached a jpg of the error for youze.

BTW, sorry.. this is not a question. It's a tip.
